The 100% Waveless Waterbed Mattress by Classic Sleep Products is a premium hardside waterbed. This waterbed mattress is great for those who want virtually no movement in their waterbed. There are five layers of 2oz. of resin specially engineered comfort fiber that add firmer, stationary comfort. The “ultra firm waveless fiber with lumbar” design limits the motion of the bed to only 0 to 1 second. The head to foot closed cell buoyancy layer allows for consistent fiber flotation. Also, this bed is made with a 4oz. layer of firm lumbar contouring for added lower back support.
Hardside waterbeds are great for reducing pressure on the body and spine, allowing the muscles to completely relax. For added durability and support, the “linen lock” reinforces corners, provides durability and keeps sheets stationary. The 100% waveless hardside waterbed is made using the most durable vinyl on the market today, so you can be sure of its longevity. Additionally, the study “L Sure Seam” corner construction gives the waterbed even more support. Four corner tethering prevents any shifting and bunching. For these reasons, Classic Sleep Products offers a 15 year limited warranty with this product. This waterbed is made with an Air Express valve for ease of draining.

Hardside waterbeds consist of a bladder and a frame. Frames are usually made of wood and the bladder sits right inside the frame on a plywood platform, this platform is reinforced underneath. Usually frames have side panels that sit on top of it to make it easier for an individual to climb in and out of bed. The bladder, usually made form vinyl is the chamber that holds the water. Bladders can range from free-flowing to semi-waveless to waveless. A free-flowing bladder will give the effect of a wavy bed, with full motion created from the water. Waveless bladders usually have a layer of material on the top of the bladder to reduce the motion created by the water. For example, a 50% waveless waterbed will decrease the motion created by the water by 50%, making the sleep surface a little firmer and even.

Q: We already have the plush zipper cover for the mattress and all we need is a mattress to go in it. So will any style hard mattress fit inside? Is it the cover that you are calling a soft mattress? These new waterbed terms are confusing to me. Also, how long does it take to ship a mattress?
Asked on 9/1/2011 by Donna Lloyd
A: Hardside waterbed mattresses are called hardside because they go inside a "hard sided frame". They are all 9 inches tall. As far as shipping, they all ship rather quickly for Classic Sleep.
